Terms of Use

Last updated: 15 October 2026

In short

  • Nexodyne is an educational tool for parents. It is not medical, psychological or professional educational advice, and it never replaces a professional.
  • Adults use Nexodyne. Children may play the Library games and quizzes only with a parent or carer who supervises them.
  • Membership renews automatically until you cancel. Our Membership & Subscription Policy explains prices, cancelling and refunds.
  • Nothing in these terms takes away your legal rights as a consumer.

1. About these terms

1.1 These terms apply when you use nexodyne.org and the emails we send (together, “Nexodyne”). They are a contract between you and Nexodyne Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16539459), whose registered office is at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”, “our”).

1.2 Our Membership & Subscription Policy, Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy also apply. If you become a member, the Membership & Subscription Policy takes priority on payments, renewal, cancellation and refunds.

1.3 By using Nexodyne you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use Nexodyne.

1.4 You can contact us at info@nexodyne.org.

2. Who can use Nexodyne

2.1 Nexodyne is designed for adults. To take the parent quiz, give us your email address, join the beta or become a member, you must be 18 or over and a parent, guardian or carer of the child you tell us about (or have their parent’s permission).

2.2 Children may use the Library games and the child quizzes only together with, and supervised by, a parent or carer. You are responsible for choosing activities that suit your child, for keeping them safe while they play (especially in active games and “brave step” challenges), and for how long they use a screen.

2.3 We don’t knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Please don’t let a child type their name, email address or other personal details anywhere on Nexodyne.

3. What Nexodyne is, and what it isn’t

3.1 Nexodyne offers educational information, games and self-reflection tools for families. It does not provide medical, psychological, psychiatric, therapeutic, diagnostic or professional educational advice or assessment.

3.2 Quizzes, reports, plans, checklists and results are based only on what you tell us, or on a short set of questions or puzzles. They are a starting point for reflection and practice. They are not a diagnosis, a test score or a professional opinion, and our “IQ-style” puzzles do not measure IQ.

3.3 If you are worried about your child’s development, health, behaviour, learning or safety, speak to a qualified professional, such as your doctor, your child’s school or a registered therapist. In an emergency, call 999 in the UK, or your local emergency number.

3.4 You decide whether and how to use what we suggest. Use your own judgement about what is right for your family, and stop any activity that upsets or harms your child.

4. The free parts of Nexodyne

4.1 The parent quiz, the Library games and quizzes, sample cards and the free book are free. We may change, limit or withdraw free features at any time.

4.2 You may print and use our parent cards, printables and the free book for your own family’s personal, non-commercial use. You may not sell, republish or share them as a product or service (see section 8).

4.3 Library games and child quizzes keep their progress and results in your browser’s storage on your device. If you clear it or change device, that history is lost. We don’t receive it (see our Privacy Policy).

5. Membership

5.1 Membership is a paid subscription that renews automatically until you cancel. The price, what you pay first and when, how to cancel, our 30-day money-back guarantee and your refund rights are set out in our Membership & Subscription Policy and shown to you before you pay.

5.2 Membership includes a personal family report written with the help of AI from your quiz answers, a 12-week programme by email and in your dashboard, the reading material listed on our website and the Nexodyne Library. We may improve and change what membership includes. We won’t make it significantly worse during a period you have paid for without telling you and offering a refund for the rest of that period.

6. Your details and our emails

6.1 Please give accurate information and keep your email address up to date: we send important information about your membership to it.

6.2 If you give us your email address in the quiz, we send your results and a short series of follow-up emails. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in every email. Members also receive service emails about their membership, which we need to send.

6.3 How we use your information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

7. Using Nexodyne fairly

7.1 You must not:

  • copy, sell, rent, republish or share our content, reports, games or printables as your own product or service, or use them to train or build other software or AI models;
  • scrape or download content in bulk, or use bots or other automated tools on Nexodyne (search engines that follow our robots.txt are welcome);
  • try to get around our security, the limits on the intro offer or free features, or interfere with how Nexodyne works;
  • use Nexodyne for anything unlawful, harmful or misleading, or in any way that could harm a child;
  • pretend to be someone else, or use another person’s payment card or email address without their permission.

7.2 If you break these rules, we may suspend or end your access, as explained in section 12.

8. Our content

8.1 Nexodyne, including its text, games, quizzes, reports, designs, software, logos and the Nexodyne name, belongs to us or to the people who license it to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use it for your own family, under these terms. We may withdraw this licence if you break these terms.

8.2 Some materials are used under their own licences or are in the public domain, and we credit them where they appear: for example, icons from Lucide (ISC licence), personality statements from the International Personality Item Pool, and milestones adapted from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s checklists. Their creators do not endorse Nexodyne.

8.3 If you send us ideas, feedback or suggestions, we may use them without paying you. We won’t publish your name or your words without your permission.

9. AI and automatically written content

9.1 We use artificial intelligence (AI) to help write some content: family reports, the first lines of members’ weekly programme emails, and answers to members’ emails (Anna, our AI guide). AI-written content is labelled. Questions about cancelling, payments, safety, health or privacy are answered by a person.

9.2 AI can make mistakes. Read AI-written content with care, and don’t rely on it for medical, mental health, legal, financial or safety decisions. If something looks wrong, tell us.

9.3 We do not make decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing.

10. Other websites and services

10.1 Payments are handled by Stripe, and some links go to other websites. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.

11. Keeping Nexodyne available, and changing it

11.1 We work to keep Nexodyne available and working well, but we can’t promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We may need to pause it for maintenance, security or reasons outside our control.

11.2 We may update or change Nexodyne, for example to reflect new research, feedback or changes in the law. Where a change significantly affects a membership you have paid for, section 5.2 applies.

12. Suspending or ending your access

12.1 You can stop using Nexodyne at any time. Members can cancel as explained in our Membership & Subscription Policy.

12.2 We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect children, other people or Nexodyne. Where reasonable, we will tell you why first and give you a chance to put things right. If we end a paid membership without a valid reason under these terms, we will refund the unused part of your current payment.

13. Our responsibility to you

13.1 If we fail to follow these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our failure or our negligence. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss is foreseeable if it was obvious that it would happen, or if both of us knew it might happen when you started using Nexodyne.

13.2 Nexodyne is for domestic and private use. We are not responsible for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

13.3 Nexodyne provides general educational information and activities (see section 3). Where we have acted with reasonable care and skill and in line with these terms, we are not responsible for decisions you make about your child’s health, care or education, or for the results of activities you choose to do.

13.4 If digital content we supply damages a device or other digital content belonging to you, and this is caused by our failure to use reasonable care and skill, we will repair the damage or pay you compensation. We are not responsible for damage you could have avoided by applying a free update we offered, or that was caused by not following our installation instructions or minimum system requirements.

13.5 Subject to section 13.6, our total responsibility to you for all claims connected with Nexodyne in any 12-month period is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in that period and £100.

13.6 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. This includes your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015: for example, that digital content and services must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality, and that services must be provided with reasonable care and skill.

14. Complaints

14.1 If you’re unhappy, please email info@nexodyne.org. We aim to reply within 5 working days and to resolve complaints within 14 days.

14.2 If we can’t resolve your complaint, we will tell you in our final response about an alternative dispute resolution service you may be able to use. You can also get free, independent advice from Citizens Advice, or go to court.

15. The law and the courts

15.1 These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring legal proceedings in the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts. If you live in another country, you keep any rights you have under the mandatory consumer laws of that country.

16. Changes to these terms

16.1 We may update these terms, for example to reflect changes in the law or in Nexodyne. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change significantly affects members, we will email them at least 30 days before it applies, and they can cancel before then.

17. Other important terms

17.1 If a court decides that part of these terms is unlawful, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organization; we will tell you if we do, and it won’t reduce your rights. You need our written consent to transfer yours. Nobody else has any rights under these terms.
