In short

  • We collect what you tell us in the parent quiz (your answers, first name and email address) to build your plan and send it to you.
  • Your child’s game progress and quiz answers in the Library stay on your device. We never receive them.
  • We use Anthropic’s Claude (AI) to help write your family report and some emails, and Stripe to take payments. We never sell your data.
  • Optional analytics and ad cookies only run if you say yes.
  • You can see, correct or delete your data at any time: email info@nexodyne.org.

2.1 We only collect what we need. The parent assessment never asks for your child’s name. In your dashboard a first name, nickname or initial is enough, and we never ask for a child’s full name, date of birth or photo. Please don’t include identifying details in free-text answers or messages.

2.2 Some quiz answers describe your child’s behaviour or habits. We use them only to build your plan and report, never for advertising, and we treat them with extra care.

3. Children

3.1 Nexodyne is for parents and carers. Children can use the Library games and child quizzes only with a parent or carer.

3.2 When you’re not logged in, everything a child does in the Library (game levels, quiz answers, results and plans) is stored only in the browser on your device. It is not sent to us: we only receive the anonymous counts described in section 2, which contain no name, no answers and no device identifier.

3.3 When you’re logged in to your dashboard, each game round your child plays (which game, the level and the score) is saved to the child you pick, so you can see their progress. A quiz result is saved only when you tap “Save”, and only as its one-line summary: quiz answers always stay on your device. You can delete a child, and everything saved for them, at any time in your dashboard.

3.4 We don’t knowingly collect personal data directly from children, including from children under 13. If you think a child has given us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

4. Information that stays on your device

4.1 Some features keep information in your browser’s storage so that they work: your quiz progress and results, the intro offer timer, Library levels, quiz history and the plans you make (such as a family screen plan or goal ladder), and your cookie choice. This stays on your device. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings. Our Cookie Policy lists it.

5. Artificial intelligence

5.1 We use Anthropic’s Claude to help write family reports, the first lines of members’ weekly programme emails, and answers to members’ emails (Anna, our AI guide). To do this, we send Anthropic the information needed for the task, such as your quiz answers, your report, how many of the week’s games were ticked off, or your message and our earlier emails with you. We never send your children’s names. Anthropic processes it on our behalf under a data processing agreement and, under its commercial terms, does not use it to train its models.

5.2 AI-written content is labelled. We do not make decisions about you with legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing.

7. International transfers

7.1 Some providers are based in, or access data from, the United States or other countries outside the UK. 10. Security

10.1 We protect your data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access and trusted providers. Stripe handles card payments to the PCI DSS security standard, so card details never reach our systems. No system is perfectly secure, but we act quickly on any problem and will tell you if a breach puts your data at risk.

11. If you live outside the UK

11.1 If you live in the European Union, you have the same rights as in section 9 under the EU GDPR, and you can also complain to your local data protection authority.

11.2 If you live in the United States, we do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Depending on your state, you may have rights to know, correct and delete your information: email us to use them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

12. Changes to this policy

12.1 We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If we make a significant change, we will tell you by email or on our website before it applies.
