Membership & Subscription Policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

In short

  • Membership renews automatically until you cancel. Before you pay, you see the price, the date of each payment and how to cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time, online or by email. You keep your membership until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Your first full payment is covered by our 30-day money-back guarantee. Later payments aren’t refunded, except where the law gives you a right to a refund.
  • We email you before a reduced first month or a free week ends, and before every yearly renewal.

1. About this policy

1.1 This policy explains how Nexodyne membership works. It forms part of our Terms of Use, and it is a contract between you and Nexodyne Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16539459), whose registered office is at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”).

1.2 Nothing in this policy affects your legal rights as a consumer. If anything in it conflicts with those rights, your rights apply.

2. Words we use

  • Membership: your Nexodyne subscription, on one of our plans: Monthly, the Intro Offer, First Week Free or Yearly.
  • First-Month Price: the reduced price of the first month on the Intro Offer.
  • Introductory Period: the first month of an Intro Offer membership, or the first 7 days of a First Week Free membership.
  • Standard Price: the price of each month on Monthly, the price of each month after the Introductory Period on the Intro Offer and First Week Free, and the price of each year on Yearly.
  • Billing Date: the date you joined, and the same date each month (or each year, on Yearly) after that.
  • Billing Period: the month or year that a payment covers.

3. Plans and prices

3.1 Our plans and current prices are shown on our plan page and again at checkout, before you pay. The price you agree to at checkout is the price you pay. Prices are in euros unless shown otherwise, and any tax that applies is included or shown before you pay.

3.2 The Intro Offer is available to families who finish our 5-minute parent assessment, for the time shown on the plan page, once per family. When that time ends, the Intro Offer is no longer available to that family.

3.3 First Week Free. When the time for the Intro Offer has ended, families who have never been members may be offered First Week Free instead: the first 7 days cost nothing, then the Standard Price is charged every month. You give your payment card details when you join.

3.4 The First-Month Price and First Week Free are for new members, once per person and household, and a household can have one of them, not both. Monthly and Yearly are charged at the Standard Price from the start, and checkout shows you that price before you pay.

4. Your membership renews automatically

4.1 Your membership is a continuing subscription. It renews automatically at the end of each Billing Period, and we charge the payment card you gave us on each Billing Date, until you cancel.

4.2 Monthly and the Intro Offer. On Monthly, you pay the Standard Price when you join and on the same date every month after that, until you cancel. On the Intro Offer, you pay the First-Month Price when you join, for your first month. Unless you cancel before your first Billing Date after the Introductory Period (shown at checkout and in your confirmation email), your membership continues automatically, and we charge the Standard Price on that date and on the same date every month after that, until you cancel.

4.3 First Week Free. You pay nothing when you join. Unless you cancel within the 7 days, your membership continues automatically, and we charge the Standard Price on day 8 (shown at checkout and in your confirmation email) and on the same date every month after that, until you cancel. If you cancel within the 7 days, you pay nothing.

4.4 Yearly. You pay the Standard Price for a year when you join, and it renews every year on your Billing Date until you cancel.

4.5 Before you pay, we show you the First-Month Price or the free week (if your plan has one), the Standard Price, the date of your first Standard Price payment and how to cancel. To join, you confirm that you understand your membership will continue at the Standard Price and that you agree to pay it.

4.6 By completing your order you authorize us, and our payment provider Stripe, to charge the First-Month Price (or, on Monthly and Yearly, the Standard Price) when you join (on First Week Free, nothing is charged when you join), and the Standard Price on each Billing Date until you cancel. Cancelling ends this authority for future payments.

4.7 We email you a confirmation that you can keep, with what you agreed to, the Standard Price, your next payment date and how to cancel.

5. Reminders

5.1 We email you at least 7 days before your Introductory Period ends on the Intro Offer, and at least 3 days before your free week ends on First Week Free, with the date and amount of your first Standard Price payment and a link to cancel.

5.2 On Yearly, we email you at least 7 days before each renewal, with the date and amount.

5.3 We also send any other notice the law requires. Reminders go to the email address on your membership, so please keep it up to date.

6. How to cancel

6.1 You can cancel at any time:

  • online, using the “Manage or cancel your membership” link in our emails; or
  • by emailing info@nexodyne.org from the email address on your membership (or telling us that address) and saying you want to cancel.

6.2 To stop the next payment, cancel before your next Billing Date.

6.3 When you cancel, your membership stays active until the end of the Billing Period you have already paid for, then ends. We will not charge you again.

6.4 We confirm every cancellation by email. Cancelling is never harder than joining.

7. Refunds

7.1 Our 30-day money-back guarantee. If Nexodyne is not right for your family, email us within 30 days of your first Standard Price payment and we will refund everything you have paid so far. On the Intro Offer, that is the First-Month Price and your first Standard Price payment. On First Week Free, Monthly and Yearly, it is your first Standard Price payment. The guarantee applies once per person and household.

7.2 No refunds for renewal payments. Apart from section 7.1 and your legal rights in section 8, a payment for a Billing Period that has started is not refundable. This includes every monthly or yearly renewal payment after the one covered by section 7.1, and any part of a Billing Period you don’t use, including after you cancel. We do not give pro-rata refunds or credits.

7.3 So, if you don’t cancel before a Billing Date, the payment for the new Billing Period is due. If you cancel later in that period, your membership simply ends at the end of it, and that payment is not refunded.

7.4 Section 7.2 does not apply, and we will refund you, where:

  • the law gives you a right to a refund, including any cooling-off period described in section 8;
  • we charged you by mistake, or more than the price you agreed to;
  • what we supplied was faulty or not as described, or not provided with reasonable care and skill, and the law entitles you to a refund or a price reduction; or
  • we stop providing membership, or change it in a way that is significantly worse for you, during a Billing Period you have paid for (for the unused part of that period).

7.5 Refunds go back to the card you paid with, normally within 14 days of our agreeing to them.

8. Your legal rights

8.1 Your 14-day right to cancel when you join. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you can cancel your membership within 14 days of the day you join.

  • Your family report is digital content that we supply straight away. At checkout, you ask us to supply it immediately and confirm you understand that you lose your right to cancel for the report once it has been supplied.
  • Our programme emails, the dashboard and the Library are a service. If you ask us to start it straight away and then cancel within these 14 days, we refund what you paid, minus an amount in proportion to the service we supplied before you told us you were cancelling.

In practice, our 30-day money-back guarantee (section 7.1) refunds everything you paid up to and including your first Standard Price payment, which is more generous than this legal right.

8.2 Renewals are not new contracts. Your membership is a single, continuing contract. Under the 2013 Regulations, an automatic renewal, including the first Standard Price payment after an Introductory Period, does not start a new 14-day cancellation period.

8.3 New subscription rules. When the subscription rules in the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024 apply to your membership, you will have the extra rights they give, including a 14-day cooling-off period after the first payment that follows a free or discounted period, and after a renewal of 12 months or more. Where those rights apply, they take priority over section 7.2. Where the law allows us to keep an amount for what we supplied before you cancelled, we will.

8.4 If something goes wrong. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, if our digital content is faulty, you may be entitled to a repair or replacement and, in some cases, a price reduction or refund. If our service is not provided with reasonable care and skill, you may be entitled to have it repeated or to a price reduction. Citizens Advice can tell you more about your rights.

9. Payment problems and chargebacks

9.1 Failed payments. If a payment fails, our payment provider will try again over the following days and we will email you. If it still can’t be taken, we may pause or end your membership.

9.2 Please talk to us first. If you think a charge is wrong, email info@nexodyne.org. We aim to reply within 2 working days. If we charged you by mistake, we refund you straight away, usually much faster than a dispute through your bank.

9.3 If you dispute a payment you authorized. If you ask your bank or card provider to reverse a payment you authorized under this policy, we may contest it. To do so, we may give your bank, card provider and our payment provider: this policy and our terms; what was shown to you at checkout and the record of your agreement (including date, time and IP address); the confirmation, receipt and reminder emails we sent you, with delivery records; records of your use of your membership, such as emails opened and reports downloaded; and any messages between us. We share only what is needed to answer the dispute.

9.4 While a dispute about a payment is open, we may pause your membership. If the dispute is decided in our favour, the payment stands and your access is restored. If it is decided in your favour, your membership ends at the end of the last Billing Period you paid for and did not dispute.

9.5 We never charge you a fee for a dispute. This section does not affect your right to raise a dispute with your bank, or any of your legal rights.

10. Price changes

10.1 We may change the Standard Price. We will email you at least 30 days before a change affects you, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

10.2 If you joined on the Intro Offer, your Standard Price will not increase for at least 12 months after your first payment.

11. Records we keep

11.1 We keep records of your agreement to this policy, what was shown to you at checkout, the emails we send you and your use of your membership while you are a member and for 24 months after your membership ends, to answer questions, handle complaints and respond to payment disputes. Payment and tax records are kept for 6 years, as the law requires. Our Privacy Policy explains more.

12. Changes to this policy

12.1 We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed. If a change significantly affects members, we will email them at least 30 days before it applies, and they can cancel before then. Changes never apply to a payment you have already made.
